The 42.4 metre motor yacht Alive<\/em>, listed for sale by Fergus Torrance at Torrance Yachts, has been sold with the buyer introduced by Onur Erardag at Nautique Yachting in Turkey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With exterior styling and interior design by Omega Architects,<\/a>Alive<\/em> was built in steel and aluminium to ABS class by Dutch yard Heesen Yachts<\/a> and delivered in 2014. An interior layout in rich fabrics and Macassar ebony accommodates up to twelve guests in six cabins while a further five cabins sleep nine crewmembers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A large VIP suite is located on the main deck forward, while a second circular-shaped master suite is on the wheelhouse deck and features a centred king size bed, dressing room and gymnasium. This cabin is also equipped with floor-to-ceiling glass windows for panoramic views. Below deck lie two double and two twin cabins, all with entertainment centres, flatscreen television sets and en suite bathroom facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alive<\/em> was the first yacht to be fitted with the Fast Displacement Hull Form and Hull Vane. Created by Van Oossanen Naval Architects<\/a>, these two technical features serve to increase speed and lower fuel consumption by reducing resistance and increasing lift.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Twin 1,447hp MTU diesel engines allow a cruising speed of 14 knots topping out at 16 knots and a range of 5,000 nautical miles at 10 knots. For added comfort and safety she is fitted with Naiad zero speed stabilisers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alive<\/em><\/a> was asking \u20ac18,500,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
